The Reunion
was a Great Success
To those of you who came, we had a great time.
To those of you who couldn’t make it, we missed
you!
Friday night’s stag had about 100 people there
and there were about 120 people at the banquet.
A lot were local but many traveled to Pittsburgh
from Florida, California and a lot of places in
between. Friday night was some good “man” food
mixed with soft drinks and beer and a chance to
tour Central. In the new cafeteria the center
serving isle is gone but they may still be
serving the food they purchased for us.
Classmates could wander around and talk to a lot
of people you had not seen in 50 years. The
Memory Book was a great help in
bringing everyone up-to-date on some of our
classmates. The Banquet on Saturday had dancing
with a selection of music of the 50’s and 60’s
and a few tunes a little earlier and some
later.
We sent out an email survey to people who
attended and almost everyone said they had a
great time and were looking forward to the next
gathering. We have a subcommittee formed headed
by Bob Kenaan to plan something for this spring
or summer. If you have any ideas on what you
would like us to do, just send an email to
59communications@PittCentralCatholic.org
There are over about 500 photos of your
classmates at the stag and banquet up on Flickr
and, to make things better, we even have their
yearbook pictures. You can just get there by
clicking on this link www.flickr.com/59CentralCatholic
If that fails, just copy and paste the link
into your browser.
The important thing is you can search by name on
Flickr. So if you go to
http://www.flickr.com/photos/59centralcatholic/alltags/
a list of all of the names will show up. Just click on a particular name
you see all the photos that person is in.
If you have never used Flickr before,
for some help.
We will be putting more photos up on Flickr and
this website in the next few weeks. That will
include the class group photo, so check back
often!
