Games Club
The Central Catholic Role-Playing Games Club is one of several new activities. It is different from many others because it doesn’t foster competition. The club presumes that each individual’s imagination is an asset, something to be used and encouraged. The club fosters its members’ creativity by allowing each to control a character, guiding this alter-ego through different levels of mental challenge, be it deciphering messages, answering riddles, etc. (in addition to offering him a chance to rescue the damsel in distress or slay the evil dragon). The club is a gathering of like-minded individuals who like to engage in social activity. No one is "cut," there are no tryouts, but there is a nominal fee. The club meets once a week for about two hours, in addition to the occasional day off.
